Skin products that are saving me this winter

Winter is a harsh season for your body. One of the best things you can treat yourself to during the cold whether is a daily/weekly skin routine – morning and evening, pre- and post- makeup. I’m not talking loads of products that all claim to do lots of different things – that’s a) expensive and b) exhausting. Who on earth wants to take 30 minutes out of their day to apply 100 products when they’ve been at work all day?

The Skin Diaries, Pt II: I’ve changed contraceptive pill

The week before Christmas I had an appointment about the contraceptive pill. Up until this appointment, I had been taken the progesterone only pill, which for those who don’t know is the one where you don’t take a seven day break for your period. After my appointment, I came out with a prescription for the combined pill.

Being out of university and in a job meant I had a lot more “me” time during the last half of the year – not to mention (albeit only slightly) more money too. Less time on essays and more time on trying things out led me to discovering some pretty cool things in 2017…
